Piston and cam installation

I am going to install a new piston and cam i my 400 i was wandering how big of a job it is...i have never tore the motor apart before and i was just looking for some advice on wether i could probably do it or just take it to the honda shop i bought a clymer manual that shows how to do it advice would be great.

you can do it your self if you have a good afternoon to do it, and the gaskets don't fly out of the back of your truck;) lol its not that hard, you have to take the it in to get it bored, but you can do the rest

its not that hard. i would definately buy a manual. read and understand the steps before doing the job. its not a bad idea to have another person around the house when you need an extra set of hands for something either.
