I installed the sparks jet kit the other day and now I can't get it to idle. All I had to do is change the needle because I already had the 190 main installed. I have tried different settings on the needle to no avail. If I put the choke on it almost idles like its supposed to. The main thing is that I can turn the idle screw and it is not doing anything at all I looked on the other side and it is turning. I have also turned the air fuel mixture screw 4 turns out just like sparks said. Other than it not idling it is running great. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Are you running the airbox lid on or off? I have the sparks jet kit, sparks filter (airbox lid removed), and stock exhaust with HRC endcap, but I'm running a 185 main jet (they told me to use a 190 with their exhaust), needle in third clip from top position, and I left everything else alone. Sparks gave me those settings to use for their airfilter with nox airbox lid, they also said to turn the airscrew out 2 1/2 turns. (I didn't have to change my idle screw or airscrew, from the stock setting it idled just fine when i was done.) What I would do, to trouble shoot the problem is first start the bike with airbox lid on, and then see if the idling issue gets worse or better, next try it with the lid off and see if it gets better. If it gets better with the lid on then you are too lean and you need to richen the mixture up. If its better with the lid off then you are too rich.

Thanks for the reply joe. I've actually tried all the things that you have told me to try none have helped. Thanks for the reply though!

I figured it out. The throttle cable got a lot of slack in it somehow which heep it from idling. Thanks for the replies!

The throttle cable loosened up some how preventing it from idling.
