Alright folks, my buddy and I have this bet that Honda produced a 400exr that had total independent suspension. He says they produced it a couple years ago, it was white with the independent suspension. Now if any of you have heard of this quad let me know, i have a $20 bet riding on this. I would like to think I know Honda fourwheelers but he swears to god. So let me know!!

Maybe he's thinking of Service Honda's new 250r. It's a cr250 engine in a 400ex frame. Never heard of the independent susp.

The quad does exist. But it's not a honda built.

FST built a 300ex with a aftermarket frame that had indipendant rear suspention with 12 inch of travel ( if I remember correcly )and they put there 400 cc kit in the motor with a complete set of white fenders that covered the side of the bike ( really ugly ) and it's called the 400EXR.

As for what i can tell, you won the bet, becuz honda didnt produce this quad, it is built by aftermarket parts or swapping parts..

The question was if Honda produced it. Which they didn't.

Cause mickey felt like making them?

Actually my motor builder bought one from mickey and still has it somewhere . He said it hooked up so good he couldnt brake his rear tires loose unless he put a real hi hp motor in it. He said he got tired of trying to dial it in perfect and went back to racing his laeger framed 350x motored quad.
