if u buy a raptor all u will see it doing is breaking i thought they were isck quads untill i bought 1 for the 1st week i had it it was the best quad then it started to break raptors would be the best quads if they didnt break though

And yet another 'Raptors are no good all they do is break down' post... :rolleyes: Well, mine is a 2001, except for one time due to a glitch in the electrical system, it wouldn't start, I've had no problems. Course now that I've said that, that will change! :o It's true the 2001 had some tranny problems, I'd get a 2002 and up. If you're used to a 400ex, you won't like the handling of the Rappy. But the power don't compare. Anyway, here's mine. ;) No laughing at the truck!

Hey now, no disin the Rappy, I haven't had one problem with mine and it's been through a lot more than most other quads. Rolled it down a 100' ravine, flipped it over and let it set a couple min. to let the oil run back into the case and it fired right up.

There is good and Bad in ALL quads.........;) alot can be determined by how you maintian it as well.........:)

wow man you gotta stop making fun of the rap daddy it will rip on almost all quad and my 03 just had its first recall and thats on the back brake the 04 are sick and they have fixed all the problems ... well most and by 06 i trust they will be amazing. just give it time you shouldnt take it out on all raptors because you have an 02


but whatever yeah man raptors are sick i ride in alot of trails and ist nice and high off the ground for that i also do alot of flat frestyl like wheelies and 2 wheels and suck and the raptor is suck for it. and you cant forget about its speed. and if you wanna mx get a axel swing arm a-arms some 0 pre-load shocks and your good

the time i rode a rap i felt like i was sitting 5 ft off of the ground i did like the power the bike had but that was about it. just my opinion

yup i agree with you 100% i tried my boss's out the other night, awsome power, but it is kinda tippy, it would need to be lower and wider

my neighbors has a raptor and he said u get used to thr tippiness really fast
