Could anyone tell me if the axel nuts are left hand threads or right hand.My carrier is cracked and I can't get the nut to break loose.I need to know which way to turn the thing.
Thanks

They are reverse threads. And if its been a while since it's been broke lose you will prob need a very big wrench. I have had to use a 2 foot pipe wrench a few times to get them to break lose. Spray wd-40 on it and let it soak for a while, the can be a pain.

Hey guys thanks for your help.I've already had them soaking in WD-40 and still no luck.Does anybody have a picture of the breakdown of how to dissassemble the rear axel and carrier. It appears to me you have to loosen the nuts and remove a snapring. Can somebody verify this so I at least have some idea of how all this is supposed tocome apart.
Thanks alot.

yeh u move the lock nut all the way over to the left and then the actual nut over to the left to expose a clip take the clip out and take that whole assembly out.
