On ebay there are some brake lines that are for sale & they are said to be dual brake lines..... it looks like the bolt that goes into the master cylinder is longer so you have 2 connected ends to the cylinder instead of just 1.... does anybody know if these are a good thing or just a gimmick per say?

I have some and they work just as well as any of the other stainless brake lines i have had, If you want i can get some up close pictures of them installed.

I'm glad to see that you are running Streamline Dual Brake Lines on your quad. Anyways to answer your question the only difference between Dual brake lines and 3 way brake lines is that they don't mount to the frame and they take twice as long to bleed. Performance of the brake lines are the same. I hope this helps.

Thanks,

I like those Laegers a-arms.

How much they run you?
Do they make them for the 300ex?

I got those used a couple years ago and had pappy repowdercoat them this winter. I'm pretty sure they make them for 300's.

Theyre just cheaper to make, since they dont have a splitter.

I wish that was true, but that comment was way off. Yes the dual lines eliminate the splitter, but they use twice as much brake line hose which levels out the cost. It actually comes out to be a tad more expensive to make.

o well, i cant always be right. If it costs more then wtf is the point, does the extra fluid even make a noticeably difference?

Personally I like the 3 line setup with the Tee because I hate bleeding brakes. Pressure wise they work the same. It's a personal preference.

Thanks,
