anyone run hmf jetting

I'm gonna get an hmf pipe soon and I was just wonderin if anyone was runnin the hmf recomended jetting, it seems pretty rich.

yeah, its too rich in my opinion. some people run that jetting though. the main thing is your just not going to have the power you should when you jet that big.

I was running a 142 DJ. On my slipon.

I asked the HMFer guy about it, and he is using a different brand of jet than the rest of us, I believe that is why there is such a discrepency.

I tired their jetting too. Too rich on the top. I seem to be pretty good with a 160 main, 42 pilot, second from bottom clip, and 3 1/2 turns on the air screw. I am basicaly stock except for UNI filter, and no lid. My elevation is right around 500 abouve sea level. There was a noticable power increase with this slip-on, but if you need a spark arrestor make sure you tell them or order the quiet core.
