400ex aarms work on 250r frame???

will 400ex aarms work on a 250r frame let me know or do i need spacers and such...

The a arms themselves will work but you need to change the bushings.

Where the a-arms mount to the frame is an 1/8 inch wider on the R. You may be able to get away with using washers as a spacer as long as they fit tight to the bolt. I havn't tried it myself:rolleyes:

to get 400 ex aarms to work in a 250r frame simply take bushing from 88-89 250r aarms and use them in the 400ex aarms works great all you need is the outside spacer part as the inner bearings are the same

why cant i just use the 86-87 style bushings

because of the type material they are made from 88-89 style have a bearing in them and the 86 use like a plastic bushing trust me 88-89 style works great and you dont have to do anything but use the four spacers per aarm 400 ex aarms have the sme bearing in them that thee 88-89 aarms do if you need some of the bushings let me know ill sell you some jon
