i just ordered a non oring chain for my 400 because the stocker i worn out and yes i did get new sprockets too. but i was wondering how the non oring chain performs and how often you need to oil it down and what to use oil it down with. thanks for the help.
The packaging should tell you the maintenance procedures.
Just curious, why did you choose a non o-ring chain?

i didn't choose an o ring chain because that was all i could find for a resonable price and i am kind of short on money right now, lol so thats what i got. but thanks for the reply though
you should of just dished out the extra money b/c that chain wont last very long unless you dont ever ride

all i run is non o ring chains....grease it before and after EVERYRIDE if u do alot of trail riding...but if u trail ride alot..an X Ring would have probably been better for you..i do alot of mx, and some trail riding, and my did non o ring has done great so far
xrings are exact same thing as oring except price & it sounds cooler
