hrc cam/dirt bike cam

Does anyone know if these two cams (dirt bike and hrc) are the same??
I need the cam only and dont want to buy the whole hrc kit.

I am pretty sure you can just buy the cam not the whole kit. Someone here once said that you could atleast.

They are not the same.

The cam has it's own part number, it is likely available alone, although you might have trouble finding one in stock anywhere.

no they are not the same, and you will be able to buy parts by them selves in june time.

i talked to Tony at hotcams and he said on the 450r to use there stage one dirtbike cam if your not going to port the motor. If you are going to bump the comp. and port use there stage two.

I've had my head microported and have the HRC kit. No pistons out yet that I can find for about another 3-4 weeks. Then I think I will be going to a 13:1. I think that should be a tremendous gain!:devil: :devil: Can't wait!
