I've recently got a hold of a YZF426 motor, and looking to install it in a chassis. Originally, I thought I would install it in my stock, gusseted EX frame. Now, I'm debating whether or not I should use my gusseted stocker and modify it, or go all out and buy a used aftermarket frame already designed for the 426 motor.

I'm unsure on what to do. I already have the stock EX frame, but I could get a Houser frame w/suframe, no-link swingarm, and no-link PEP ZPS shock for around $2K. What do you think I should do? Is it worth the extra money for the aftermarket, or should I go with the stocker? Which would be better in the long-run? Thanks.

I didn't know how the Houser frame was. It's a good chunk of cash, and I would have to sell quite a few of my unneeded EX parts. It's either mod my stock EX frame, sell the unneeded parts, and have cash for whatever, OR buy the aftermarket, sell the unneeded parts, and use that money to pay off the frame. What would you do? Thanks.
