I am taking a stock 400EX to the Oregon Sand dunes. What is the best sand tire to get?? I was thinking about ITP sand star 20/10/10 8 paddle tires. I may drop a tooth on the front sprocket also.. What do you think???

get 20x10x10 8 paddle skat trak haulers or spend the extra money for extermes. DO drop a tooth! it helps ALOT! about a gear difference and then you should be set!

I got itp sand stars (20x11x10) a month ago for my stock"ish" 400ex. I have a k&n filter/ no airbox lid /155 main and 42 pilot /no choke/ground out welds on stock head pipe/moded stock muffler.
I run them with my itp holeshot xcr fronts. I,ve been to glamis a couple times since and damn!! these things hookup great!
I use to run my holeshotxcr rears at glamis, so any paddle tire is a improvment for me. But Im sure no one would be dissapointed
with these. I just bought a pro circuit t-4 pipe and can't wait to get out to the dunes now!

got to be a better deal somewhere?

The best tire for the Raptor 700 will most likely be different than for a stock 400ex which this thread was about.

You may want to start another thread either in this section or in the Dunes section.;)
