Pismo In May

lol.. sorry for those of you i confused w/ my last thread..

but heres the facts w/ no confusions, i promise..lol.

alright. i will be going to pismo.. for one weekend in may. I will most likely arrive friday night and ride for a bit then hit the sleeping bag. Saturday.. morning maybe?..afternoon?.. is when i will be lookin for some buddies to ride w/

im sure i wil have more details as time goes on but i just want to let people know ahed of time.. and im about positive this is to much time ahed

and for another question.. ive been to pismo a handfull of times, but never in a 2wd pickup. think ill be able to make it out to a safe parking spot? im thinking if i keep up some sort of speed ill be able to, then just park the back wheels on 2x12s..maybe theyre 2x10 but that part of it doesnt matter. and ...im not about to pay for angelos (as far as i remember thats the name) either, so dont even mention it.

lol, you had may in the subject, april in the body paragraph, and then confirmed the april date, and now it is back to may. lol, anyway... i'll be out there either way. as for the 2wd, i've been hitting the beach in a 2wd for about a year now and have only gotten stuck once which was 100% my fault. this past weekend i made it through some DEEP sand without airing down... granted, i was pretty heavy on the gas to keep her going. i'd suggest you air down to about 10psi per tire, and don't stop until you get to where you wanna camp. parking on some wood is a great idea, then roll off and use momentum to get back to beach. if worse comes to worse, there are a ton of guys with 4x4s willing to help out at any time (gives them an excuse to show-off their truck ;) ) anyway, post here when the time gets closer so we can meet up if you want. btw, i always park right next to pole 4.

yea.. thatll work out good.. post 4 is my usual spot too.. or somewhere around there.

Im hopin the little weak a*s S-10 2.2 litre wont get me that stuck.. lol.. 1st and 2nd gear arent bad at all, but 3rd... jeez, talk about gutless. haha.. oh well.. cant complain w/ 20-30 mpg

about that last thread.. wow..i seriously wasnt thinking straight AT ALL.. i think it was casue i was tired, and thinking about 2 different trips at the same time. oh well.. pismo in may.

how much of pismo is closed? Is up to pole 6 still or can you go past that now?

you can only camp on the beach up to pole 6 i believe, but you can park further down than that about 200 yards from the water.

OMG I CANT FREAKIN BELIEVE THOSE DAMN HIPPY *** ENVIRONMENT GOT THEM TO SHUT DOWN DAMN NEAR HALF THE DUNES. AHHHHH..... IT IS SO AGRAVATING. NEways i will be there too. I ride with cody (K2SNOW) and i will be out there with him probably. I have slacked off the past couple of times, but i am doing some work the the old girl and cant wait to see what she can do.
