To all you 250x riders, Has any 1 raced a blaster?
if so what was the outcome

It will be close, my old blaster was a bit faster than a 300ex with pipe and jetted. I have heard 250x's are faster than 300's so you might be able to beat a mild blaster. I'd think if the blaster had motor work it would win.

you should beat a stock one, a piped one is gonna give you some trouble, much more than just a pipe, and dont bet money on yourself

A fried of mine has a blaster with a full exhaust system from FMF and I can smoke him on my 250ex.

When I raced him I only had a dynojet jet kit on.

I have a 250x and race in youth production (the blaster/300ex class for ages 13-15)...i beat them all the time....

Well somebody might be able to smoke a Blaster on a Breeze, because they might be a better rider......It's all Rider Skill, not necessaryily the machine

i race a 1.5 mile mx track and i am in a class with usualy 4 blasters and 2-3 300ex's and 1 couple 250x's and 1 250ex and me (race a 250ex) and i place every time. so its not the bike its the rider :blah:

Race the blaster in the woods. You'll deffinately win, if yer skilled enough.

It is a stock 250x frame that i put gussetts in..then sent it to Pappy for a nice red powdercoating:D

i could spank the hell out of stock blasters when 2 of my firends has them i also beat a piped and tie blaster but lost to a blast with motor work and pipes and alls i had on my 250x was some 22' razrs and uni filter:devil:

my friend has a somewhat suped up blaster (pipe,ported,reeds.filter n a little more) and i dont stand a chance in a drag race. i eat his dust but if u change it to the woods i am a little better unless the trails are wide open. of course he has no brakes on the thing so he really cant go as fast in the woods but even when he did have brakes i was a little better. he has the advantage for the most part on the track but i can beat him in corners cus of his lack of stopping power. its coming out of the corner where i hurt. o ya i have a stock 250x
