Is there anything major that has to b done when putting a 400ex motor together??

i would just follow the manual close. :D

not really as long as you have some mecanical skills you sould be OK. And you only need regular hand tools. Like he said just follow the manuel if you never did it before. Ones you do it a couple time you could do it with your eyes closed.
