what do you guys recomend for break in procedures? I have read that you should run a tank of gas and then change the oil, is this true? What have you guys done? I have only 3 hours on mine.

Did the dealer give you any advice?
From what ive heard on here about breaking it in is that you should just ride it like you usually do, BUT, dont rev the piss out of her keep her at lower RPM's , and DO NOT keep it at a constant RPM. Do this for about a gas tank full and then change the oil, you should be fine then.

I warmed mine up for about 6 or 7 minutes. Then I took it out and rode it like I normally do. I runs strong and has good powernow. I agree with Smithead.

I ran about two and half tanks. I took it easy on it and didnt really rev the piss out of it. Now that its broken in it feels great!
