View Full Version : Mini front rim question
I was told that the front pattern for my 2003 Viper 90 is the same as a 1987 250x,now what I need to know is what offset do I need?I would like to make it wider.

You would want to use a 2X4 offset wheel. If you are using the stock 8 inch front tires you would order an 8x6 wheel with a 2x4 offset. The 2 represents the width of the inside half of the wheel and the 4 is the width of the outside half. Hope this helps!

the 87 honda 250x rim is a 10 inch rim. that is the one we use to run the 19x6x10 holeshot mx tires on the front of a mini.

quick question....
running a 2/4 offset front with a 3/5 offset rear, will the width be close or will the front be too narrow?

the front would be too narrow. on a mini quad you want the front 1 inch wider than the rear for it to steer right.
