i have 2 project 3 wheelers and the plastic on the one is in good shape but it was so faded that it looked pink. so i took a torch and lightly started going over the plastic and it turned out to look alright.heres a picture, i only did a little bit but u can tell the difference it made

i have heard of many people doing that... go for it i saw a lot of nice jobs but dont touch afterwards for a while and be sure not to hold the torch in one spot for to long u wont be happy i saw pic of a couple screw ups too
