i let my good friend borrow my quad for bout a month cause i been outta town for a while...n e ways came back got on it and the thing has just lostr so much power and i have no clue how to get it back...i take it he jus ragged it out but what can i do to get my power back??

It might be time to replace the rings on your piston. does blueish smoke come out of the pipe when you run it? if not then you just might need a rebuild. Hope I helped you out. :)

Ummm before you start tearin your motor apart like suggested.

I'd look at a the air filter..:o

I agree, don't take a wrench to it yet! Spark plug, air filter, carb settings, is there way too much oil in it, check the simple stuff first!

And be sure to barrow his car in the near future!!!!

Adjust the valves as well. If they've tightened up, you lose compression and power.
