Is there a spring inside the shock to control sag kinda like a collar inside a TT shock that only allows the shock to expand so far?

Well there's the ZPS spring on the top/outside of the shock body, and then there's aluminum, (different size) spacers between the shock body and the springs. That is what makes the springs activate each other at the right time. Hope that answers your question. I may not have understood what you were talking about.

There is no internal spring, its all on the outside like KYmxracer said.
