the track was really whooped out and sandy which made for a tough first race of the race, but my elkas handled a lot better than stock!

the track also had some huge mud holes! you may also notice the black bag on the lower part of my back. I ran my helmet cam for the first time in a race and the quality was amazing and its great to see parts of the race all over again(even if they werent good!)
I was surprised that the picture was so perfect even with all the bouncing from the whoops!

the new elkas worked really nice, even though they aren't close to being dialed in. I put them on the day before the race so i was just getting used to them and i adjusted them while riding in the pits before the race!!

Nice looking pics! Is that snow on the ground in the woods?
Looks real cold to me.

YA do you have a website that has all of the midwest XC races.
I would love to hit one back in my home state of Wi.

there is still some snow up here, although most has melted. Actully it is snowing pretty hard right this minute:mad:.

yamadooski here is the website for the MXC series: http://www.unitedoffroadracing.com/

just go to the midwest schedule and oma schedule on the left side of the page for the races.
Also here is the wisconsin (D-16) hare scrambles schedule(just scroll down to 2004 hare scramble section)
http://cycleusa.com/dist16/main.php?action=events

One other series that has also became increaslingly popular over the last couple of years in the Wisconsin Quad Racing Championship Series(MX Racing) which is seeing amazing rider turnouts and has really shown how big atving has become in wisconsin. here is the 13 race schedule for the WQRCS for 2004(once at the site just go to the quad series section on the left):

Foxracing,
I used to live in Janesville.
I know exactly where Verona is.
There was nothing in Janesvill to do so we always went to Madison.
Anyways got tired of Wi so we moved to Florida 11 years ago.
I still bring the ole banshee home for christmas though.
Put paddle tire on and go chase snowmobliles down with a few friends I have in Northern Wi and Mn.

Ya I will check out the schedule and see if Im coming home anytime this spring or summer.
