anyone run into this

I put a 42 pilot jet in my 426 and if the fuel screw is more than 1/2 turn out the motor runs rough and stalls? any ideas, is that normal?

yea, your problem is that your pilot u have is big, and your engine runs higher idle, the engine still thinks its in idle there, but when u turn ur screw, your engine may still be in idle, but when you turn it up to a higher rpm, it goes above the idle limit and it thinks its moving, but its not, so your rpm is so high, that when you put it in gear and let go of that clutch, the rev gets so high. that the engine just cant take the air-fuel coming in and just dies, u should just go down to a little jet
