if your just a recreational rider than get the TUSK clutch kit out of rocky mountain atv with the EBC springs....it's very cheap & mine have lasted pretty long time through some pretty rough stuff. ;) I donbt see any use in paying $100+ for a clutch kit when a $39.99 one lasts just as long.

If you like to have power to the ground and NO slippage at anytime then go for it. I"m more than happy with mine.. It works better than any 7 plate setup hands down.

If your on a budget then go with what Jumbo stated..

Rico, do u run a hinson basket as well?

i agree with Rico on this one it dpeends on your application, if u ride not even every weekend and not that serious and dont race or have limited funds go with the tusk but the 8 plate is far superior than the 7 and if u plan on a larger bore motor then u need the 8, my opinion
