Waiting for my Gibson/Axis set up to get PC'd so I've been practicing on the stock shocks for a few weeks.

We serviced the stock shocks recently at Reactive Suspension at ECATV.... Man what a joke, the oil in the stockers is like water!!!
Al Carr of Reactive Suspension simply pulled the shocks apart checked them out and reassembled them using quality shock oil!!!

The performance difference is amazing!!No fade and much more consistant. I would recomend this cheap easy upgrade to anyone who can't lay down the ching for new suspension!!!

thats a good idea!! since stockers are vavled for +1's, how do u think they would do (out of the box) w/ +2's? Because im going with standard travel +2's when i get mine, and i want to stay with stockers, and just have them revavled.

they are real stiff, i say if you are light, then +2 will be fine.

sounds like they should work. If not, stiffen the preload. im 140 and they were way too stiff stock. The shocks didn't even compress.

wow, it sounds im doing the same thing u are..goin from a 300ex to a yfz450. :) I heard that size wise there about the same? But that isnt a problem even if it is. I'm just curious to, just how much of a power and handling increase did u notice when u got your YFZ450?

well it scared the shiat outta me. the first week i had it was the rausch creek ride and i sucked plainly. After i came home, i went to the local track non stopped and just rode. Got better and better. Now its being upgraded. Phase 1 done. waiting on shocks. You will love the the yfz over the 300ex. mine was an 03 and ran like crap. never got it to run right. had a pipe and airfilter. I wanted better.

less than 150 for sure, depending on how beat up the stockers are..
