March 14th Harescramble in central PA.

The Flying Dutchmen is having there second Harescramble of the year this Sunday March 14th.

Its located off rt. 895 near Pine Grove Pa. close to interstate 81 and I78..

MX style course, 4-5 miles long. we race for 1 hour and 15 minutes
dead engine starts on the bike.
come out and try it out. see lots of GNCC stars including Chris Borich, Matt Smiley, Todd Rothermel, Rob and Tom Hertz, Tyson Thomas, James Wahl even some local MX and GNC racers show up. Its a great place to race or spectate!!!
Oh yeah!!! theres a warm clubhouse with COLD BEER!!

have any of you raced the D6 xc races at miles mountain, in elkland, pa? i'm wanting to go to a couple of their races this year since its only 2 hrs from me, and 7 of my D4 races are over 3 1/2 hrs.

MEL, The Mile Mnt. races are new to us this year...it'll be quite a haul for me but i'm lookin forward to trying out a new location. We have a few dates with Sat. races there and Sun. races at Foot of the Mnt. and the Dman...

yeah, i don't understand the sat./sun. races, but it should offer races for everybody, nomatter what part of the state you live in. it will be fun for us D4 guys to get to race with some new racers. i'm not sure which ones i'll be racing, so make sure you post if your going so i can put a face to the name.

I am planning on hitting a couple of the Miles Mt races and just about every other dist 6 race too so I'll see you guys there. I will be there this weekend too, but not sure which machine will get the call.:confused:

Derno, whats the latest on the stable??? Need anyhelp gettin parts or getting anything ready to go. Your more than welcome to run up my way and test things out on saturday!!!!!! I'd like to see an EXRider kickin it in the C class.

I am almost sure we'll be there. We've been out riding hard for the past 3 weekends just looking for someone to race other than ourselves. I was thinking about bringing my 6 yr old son for his ATV XC racing debut. I wasn't sure if they race the little guys on quads at that track. If so, what time do they start? I think I remember seeing little guys at the Feb. race but I wasn't sure what age they have to be. Hey Derno, are you racing the 6 hours at Rausch Creek? Hopefully, the weather will be a little better this weekend and you guys don't have to go through the brutal training you endured last month!!!!!:D

I will be there but i won't be racing. My friend that i raced with on the 8th will be running and i'll be running the 21st....then we'll both run 4/4. We'll be there in the big green chevy....easily recognizable. He'll be running a stock red ex. Anyone sees us come up and say hi.

i'm racing, but i'm sick with strep throat and will probably come in dead last. i don't know why people have little kids cause every time i'm around any they get me sick. i've been healthy all winter and then 3 days before the first race i get sick. :rolleyes:

Jay this is blake kramer i dont know if you know me but i race all the d6 races and i was on an EX in the C class but now im riden an R in the B class and Ill be goin to most of them again this year especially pine grove(mud hole) but we wont be hitten miles mtn and stuff like that because we are doin as many nationals as we can!

We do a race in Hedgesville, West Virginia called Tomahawk its a d7 race we went out with the Boriches last season its an awesome harescramble race and its only 2 hrs from my house wich is about the same to ft of the mt but its small and growing so look into it!! www.tomahawkmx.com

That was a rough run today at the dutchmen came in 5th in utility
hey J thanks for hittin me around those S turns and makin me have to jump my quad cause it was about to roll on me!...post some pics if you got them i'd like to see them.
