Anyone know of a twist throttle for these 450r's yet? I cannot stand thumb throttles, and just feel really uncomfortable with them. In one of the magazines on the baja 1000 450r that Tim Farr and a couple of those other guys were riding they had put a twist on it I believe. Hopefully someone makes one soon.. Thanks-

I need one too. My wife hates the thumb throttle. Tried the dealer the day we bought it. I have emailed motion pro fro a part number or launch date as they are supposeadly not out yet!!

Will try and update and price on this. Probably about $40-$50.

I emailed motion pro about the twist. This is the response:

We make 2 twist throttles for your ATV:

01-2512 uses the CR Pro throttle, good for trail riding Retail price $53.90

01-2513 uses the Vortex throttle, good for race use only Retail price $71.90

They are not available at this time, but will be shortly. Give it about 4-6 weeks and try to order again.

So there you go.. if you want one also you just have to wait a little bit.

You can use a motion pro cr throttle housing and have you cable lengthend 3.5 inches, not the sheath just the cable. Have allready don it to both of mine.

I just want to let you know that I called those people and they don't have any in stock. They are on order and don't really have a clue when they will be in and just told me to call back every few days and check. So maybe it is going to take a month or so to get them into Motion Pro's dealers.. :(

Does anyone else know how to lengthen a throttle cable, so that I could just buy the twist throttle housing and set it up?
