throttle response

when im riding and i punch the throttle quick it hesitates and justs bogs out does anyone know why?? i have a HMF SLip-on 170 main jet K&N air filter with air box lid on

too rich bro. take off the air box lid and see if it helps ur prolly lookin at 160 main and 1 clip down on the needle and 2.5 turns out

it MIGHT be that you are running too rich but a thing that you would really see a dif. with is to put on a power now. the power now evens out the air flow. It allows the air to run straigh into your valves. ;) check it out

I am running the same setup but my airbox lid is vented.I run a 160 main,clip moved down one position, a 42 pilot with air screw 2 3/4 out.

yeh so is mine but i take it off sumtimes. its still kinda rich.
