help: electrical problem

i got a new cluch purch for my 400ex and i took the old one off but the stock one has a electrical box in it and i dont know what it is and what i do with it?????????

Cut it off, strip and wire the ends together, tape them and you're good to go. One warning though, the quad will start in gear without the clutch lever pulled in. Donb't forget that part.
