Starter cover ???

I bought a Billet starter cover from Mod quad. When I took the stock one off, it had some thick milk like colored oil in it. Is this white grease from the bearing in it? What should I lube the new bearing with?

Thats water in your oil, change the oil ASAP. Them gears get oil slung up there from the engine. You don't put any oil in it.:(

Get a new oil filter too.

I don't think it water. cause that happend to me to before and I didn't have any water in the oil just some white stuff in the starter cover. just cleaned it up and never had any problems.
