400 carb on 250r?

I have a 250r with a 39mm pwk and i would like to know if it would work on a 400ex and would my 400ex carb work on it.:huh

no,two stroke carb and four stroke carb dun mix

what 300exrida said..two strokes have different fuel economy then 4 strokes

the biggest reason they wont work is a four stroke carb has an accelerator pump in it and the two stroke use's vacuum the deliver the fuel sorry about spelling

An accelerator pump only helps initial throttle response to fix that hesitation thumpers have. Two strokes don't have that problem, I wouldn't use the EX carb on an R. I don't see why the PWK couldn't be used on the EX. You don't have to have an accelerator pump, lectrons don't have them.
