300ex Valve Adj. ?

I have taken all my plastic and tank off. I was going to adjust the valves, but what exactly am I supposed to adjust? Do I just get a socket and screw each valve down to the proper clearence? Theres many different parts there, and I dont want to turn the wrong thing. I have read the tech article and I have a service manual, Im just a little confused.

you better read the book some more.on top of the head,you got two covers to unbolt,once those are of you can see what to adjust

first make sure the motors a top dead center. the should be some play in the rocker arms. if not try setting tdc again. once you have found tdc you want to take your gauges and check the clearence . if it's outta spec losen the lock nut(10mm i belive but i'v never done your motor) and then run the screw down. you want your gauge to slightly slide in and out easy but not to loose. lock the lock nut back down and thats it
