36mm mukini

I just bought a 36mm mukini tmx carburator for my 250r. I got it today and was wondering if I have to get a new throttle cable to make it work. The top is threaded, and on the stock cable there are no threads.

This should be an easy question. No one knows?

see if your old 34 mm top will screw on to the 36mm carb top then use the 36's slide and stuff. i really don't know so i am guessing
