I got a new(used) tank, (Clark) and where the filter hose thing goes into the tank it is leaking there on that seal. Is there anything that wont get chewed away by the fuel? I dont think its the filter think, cause it doesnt leak on my IMS tank. Any ideas?

Duct Tape and bubble gum :p naa jk man I was riding with him when it was leaking though and thought of putting silicone around/on it, but wasn't sure if gas would eat it. What do you guys think ?

so silicone gas will eat, we had to fix the tank on our old kx80 if you use the red hi temp rvt silicone it will be fine, ours has held for 7 months now we painted over it and its fine.

I bought a clark gas tank last year and put it on....it leaked where the plastic tabs slide in and on the gas cap. Put the stocker cap on the clark and it fixed that leak but the other leak was still there. Tried everything but I had to just buy another stock tank. I wouldnt recommend Clarke products. (5.5 Gal.)
