im really trying to decide whether or not to cut my blue stock 250x fenders or just buy maier race cut fenders??? Can someone let me know what tehy used to cut there stock plastics before..thanks:confused:

Cut plastic looks better than the race maier

I used some heavy-duty utility scissors,and they cut right through the fenders. You will need a palm sander or somthing to smooth it out. And if you get Maier, get the regular one's and cut them, it looks much better. I think the Maier race plastic looks "CORNEY"

I bought the maier racecuts, I know they look "like a catfish" as one member put it, but I wanted cut fenders without cutting my stockers. I got them almost new for $70 shipped.

i used a hack saw then a torch to get the edges to look like i bought htem that way, looks really good.
