I was thinking about getting a set of after market shocks of the front of my 400ex. I wasnt sure if i should spend the extra money and get it with the resevoir or not. I will probably do a little racing this summer but i don't know how much. Be alot trails and mx. Should i spend the extra money and get resevoirs or without.:D

I was thinking about works, but I heard Elka's were the best, so i'm gonna go with those this summer when I get my shocks.

Their is nothing wrong with works. Granted they are not the best shocks out there, I have works triple rates W/O rezzies on my 400 and it was a H3LL of a big differance... it's like riding another quad. I would love to have some Elkas or Peps, I have the money to buy them, I just couldn't justifiy spending that much money on shocks when I just trail riding. I took the money I saved and bought a cam, piston and hydraulic clutch.....I don't regret buying my works. :D

If i get a new set of elkas should i change a arms. Or do you think the stock ones would be ok for now. Be a little pricey to try to do both.

my works are probably better than alot of people elaks on here....I had them revalved recently with santo derisi's pro millenium kit.
