My friend has a 400ex, and the chain has gotten stuck between the front sprocket and the swingarm pivot. We took off the nut for the swingarm, but the pivot bolt doesn't want to budge at all, any ideas?

Probally have to cut the bolt out or try a big hammer, probally will need new piviot bolt bearings and seals.

I don't know what kind of tools you have, but I have gotten those "stuck" swingarm bolts out by using and impact to turn the bolt and at the same time have a friend use a air hammer on the other end it may come out that way if not get out the sawzall. You also could try to just take the front sprocket off, but I don't know how bad its wedged.

If you put the nut back on the pivot bolt and use a big *** hammer on the nut, that might work. If you have a dead blow hammer, those work the best. They won't damage the nut or the bolt.
