Armadillo Skid Plate?

Are Armadillo fullbody (no welds to break) skid plates any good? They are thinker, and about $30.00 cheaper then mine. I need one for my wife's 400 EX.

i bought one for my banshee from Rocky Mountain. It seems to be strong and looks good. And it was cheaper yes. It looks like it will do just fine.
