This is probally the wrong way , but this is how i did it,
take the line loose from the cyl , fill the rezzy with mineral oil and stick the fitting in the rezzy under the oil, pump slowly and you will eventually see air coming out of the line, do this till you see no air, very slow process. next have someone hold the line in the oil while you fill the cyl with oil , put the two together, then bleed like you do brakes, pump it up then crack the line. Like i said it's very slow process , but this is how i did it and it worked. Mine works fine. Hope this helps.

If you just got a new one there is no reason to bleed it. Just bolt it on and go play.

the correct way is with a bleed kit from magura. its not real costly and you get the right oil. i live by the usa distributor and have been there to get a bleed kit and they use a special min oil. the oil you by in stores is a lot thicker then the stuff they use. In the kit you get oil a syringe and a few fittings and pretty good instructions on bleeding I would suggest contacting them and getting the kit if you want it right.

i can't see where a syrenge would do any good. I saved the $13 and just bought the mugra oil and did it like i said and it worked fine.

The Magura Bleed Kit is definatly the way to go, the fittings they provide make bleeding it a breeze. I've done it both ways several times, without the bleed kit and with the bleed kit, and after those experiences, I wouldn't even think about trying to do it again without the kit. Plus with the kit you're assured not to have and bubbles in the system. If you bought a Magura, the bleed kit is chump change for you, so just get it!

:) if you need a bleed kit and do not want to wait for it by mail order, go to a bicycle shop, they have hydrolic brakes made by magura, they should stock the bleed kits.:p

they would prob have the bleed kit for the bike ( hydro brakes) but not for the clutch it may be the same kit but they use diff oils in each one
