1989 Quadracer Need Help

I have a 1989 Suzuki lt250r. I just purchased a keihin 39mm PWk carb for it. The round part of the carb that goes to the reed cage is bigger than the boot on the reed cage. Do they make a bigger boot for the reed cage to hook up to the bigger carb. Any help would be appreciated!!

If it's not much bigger, you can CAREFULLY use a torch, or submerge the boot in hot water until it becomes more pliable. IT might fit then. A 39 mm carb is awful big for a 250 isn't it? My old Zilla only had a 38.

Yeah, I believe your right. I am going to sell it on E-bay and get a 38mm. I was able to get the 39mm for 125.00 so I went with it without thinking whether it would fit or not. Thanks for the help I appreciate it!! First time using this forum and seems really helpful.
