Machine shop or no?

What do you guys think of having a machine shop porting your head because they do it cheaper because they dont just do atv's, compared to a atv shop.

i think it depends on their rep. but from what ive heard c&d racing does it for good prices and their work os top notch
but ive talked with laz at gt thunder and he is doing my motor, cant beat his prices for his work in my opinion, you get what u pay for sometimes, he is a sponsor on bill ballances quad now! so what does that say if he is good enough for the best gncc rider out there he is good enough for me
