lights?

ok im thinking about removing my lights so i can put a quad tech hood on my 400, but i want to keep my lights.. now i dont need extremly bright lights just enough so i can see when im messin around at my friends house, but i do not want the trail tech lights that mount on the handle bars... i have heard that you can use lazr star lights under the fenders mounted onto the frame, does anyone know how to do this?? also wehre could i but these lights and do i have to modify anything to make them mount on teh frame?

Put the new hood on. fit the lights in there, make a custom mount. that's ur best bet. experiment, the best way is to try something.

Heres some lights we put on MadMatt's 300EX. Lazarstars were too expensive and we didn't want to mount them on the bars either. He got some "street bike" accessory lights from the bike shop for $80 and I made the mount. 35W each and a good light spread. Looks way better than the big 80's square headlight. :D

with the fenders on you can even see the light until you turn them on it looks really good with the fenders but I don't have any pics.

just make a little braket and hook it to your shock mount.

I just put my batery up front instead of in the air box like every body is doing. I don't have the money for a aluminum air box.

i just put a set on my bars with clamps and they work mint 30.00 off ebay i wired them into the factory harness and they work with the switch.

i mounted mine right in the scoops, so it is hiding them, but i went on my frist ride with them and i only have one left..:mad:
