err. mouse actually.

I have heard of it happening before but I never saw it myself until now.

Decided to bring my 300 out of hibernation getting it all ready for the season and wouldn't you know it my airbox was full of paper, some sort of fabric (rug maybe) and mouse crap (man did it stink too) Has this ever happened to anyone else here?

nope... never has happened to me, and I dont think it ever will because i have a special bond with my quad: it will keep on going and I will keep on riding :) :cool:

Good Idea, maybe I can get one of those hanging fly traps in there too :D

I guess they crawled through the frame and into the box, nothing else was open.

I had a mouse nest made in my ATC250R airbox once...

They made it comfortable with foam from the lawnmower seat :mad: :grr:

We had mouse/squirrel stew not too long after.

LMAO, Ive had them set up camp in my airbox before to, I had 1 lil puney mouse turn 1 of my shop drawers into his home, I just took anything out that was important and let him kick in there, he actually became the shop pet, he just stocked up on dry dog food haha, he'd just come out and sit and watch us wrench:D One day I walk in and heard a noise just to see a rat , I opened the mouses lil drawer and his lil head was chewed up..literally, damn rat:grr:

My pal had his atc 250r on our back deck for a few months, and what ever critter was living in there completely plugged up his air intake system, we found a buncha stuff in there...from more dog food to candy wrappers, somehow it managed to plug up the silencer w/ dog food, as soon as we got it fired..a chit-load of dog chow came shootin' out LOL:rolleyes: we'll just say after that the dog ate inside,didnt want any more of that:D

I had a car in my shop that happened too. The mouse or chipmunk ate the abs harness. $3,000.00 worth of damage. put moth ball flakes in the air box and around the quad

Happened to my sister's car damn mice ate wires and had nest in her motor a while ago. Also this Chirstmas I went to my mom's to put up her lights, I opened the box where she had them stored it smelled like crap and had shredded plastic bags all inside.

Heck we don't let ours set long enough LOL well I should say I dont' + I have 3 cats & 2 dogs that love mice :blah: have had them in my motorhome though but we usually bring those home FROM camping :rolleyes: only takes a couple days & they are done :p
I should go up in the garage & see if this one is still up there, LOL all that is in the electrical box was a skeleton it was a funny but gross site :devil: guess he stepped in the wrong place LOL
