Look good! I looking for one myself;) What did you use for switches? I have banjo bolt switches installed.

That's all you need. Just use the stock clutch switch on your brake lever. There's a little spot made for it to mount since it's the same lever used on the XR600 w/ brake lights.;) If you need help with the wiring give me a holler!:D

how much was it, and why do you need a switch for it? cant you just splice with existing brk lite wiring?

See how it lights up and then gets brighter? You need the switch for a working brake light I believe. Looks great!

Is it smaller then the stock Z400 light? If it is it maybe a good replacement option for Z owners that want to keep the taillight.

looks good but i for one hate those things, they are so damn bright that when your on the racetrack and the guy with the 450R in front of you likes to keep his taillight on and blinds you while he rolls over a jupm and your trying to hit it, you can't see anything and end up crashing because of it:mad:

so it just mounts in the 400ex light mounts??
and it jsut wires up the same ? AND u can use it as a brake light?

Where did u get one?
sounds awsome, i've been wanting a taillight for my 400... got rear ended a few times on trails :(
