screwed over!!

ok like 3 monthes ago i brout my old 250ex in for the hubs to be changed and the axel and they said they haid some thing rong with the engin.so we told them to fix it and they did.well like a month later my pistons git locket up and it needs a 1,000$ to fix it so we said screw it and sold it for 1,000$ we where pist. has this ever happend to you?

Who did the work? You should have asked for a estimate on the repairs they wanted to do. Was a well known shop?
What did they say was wrong with the engine? Sorry for all the question , but we need more info!:(
