I have Herrmann LT arms, and they told me to first lube them with wheel bearing grease during installation, and after that keep em lubed down with WD-40. Probably need to take them out every other month or so and re-grease them.

WD40 wouldn't stay in there for long, maybe long enough to get the quad warmed up. I would think something thick, that would stick well, and won't let stuff stick to it would work better. Like a chain lube or wax of some sort.

You may want to try white lithium grease

if you put a grease or anything like that on to the ball joints it will attarct the dirt like crazy, you will end up wearing your ball joints out prematurely...

we are talking about greasing them while everything is still together right??

i would use the same thing i lube my chain with, John Deere all purpose lubricant. they also have chain lube but the all purpose stuff is cool cuz it wont attract any dirt at all and it lubes reallly good

400exbro is right. grease + dirt= sandpaper. try dry graphite.

I use wd-40 on every joint on my bike after every ride. Wd only lasts for one ride but it is a great lubricant.
