250r shocks

whats is the difference of 250r shocks and 400ex shocks. i thought that 250r shocks were 1 inch shorter or sumthing. is that right.

they are the same. my friend just put 400 shocks on his r and they work just fine.

My Works shocks came off an R. I never laid them side by side but I thought that someone said the R shock is about 1/2 inch shorter.
