Hey.
What do you cats suggest for a new clutch lever and hot start button. I am removing the light and want to keep the controls simple like my cr125.

Thanks!!

CRF 450 clutch perch. bolt right on and it a lot cheeper then the Works or any other after market system

edit: all you need to order is the clutch handle the hot start lever , the bolt that holds it togeather and the part of the perch the lever bolts to, you should be able to use everything else you need from your stock perch

i do have to say that the works perch is very nice and very easy to adjust on the fly. lever action is very smooth too and it has the lever positioning adjustment built in. it's a bit steep though with the hot start for aorund $165

it is a nice piece, but they are crazy if they can justify charging $150-$160 for it.

Where is the best place to order this stuff from. I am new to this. My last machine was a CR125. Thanks for all the help.

any honda shop, i dont think i have the part numbers at home anymore. and they should be easy to put in. i had to order the bolt that hold everything togeather and i havent put mine on yet

EDIT: i also forgot, you have to have the other piece of the perch to hold it on the handle bars and you need a clip to hold the hot start cable in the houseing. i just finished installing mine (has it fr about 2 weeks waiting on the bolt) and it pulls smoother then the stock one. but the bolts that connect the perch to the handle bars are the same as the stock ones and the adjustment screw ont he perch is the same.

I had a works connection pro perch w/ built in hot start and I couldn't get the cable to stay in the housing, so i got impatient and exchanged it for a plain ole ez pull!

thats because it needs something to hold the cable in place so the rubber boot can act like a spring. i found that out tonight and need to order the part tomorrow. its kinda like a retaining clip.

I went with the CRF450 clutch perch, you have to alter the adjuster because the cable on the TRX450R is a bigger diameter, no problem, Im a toolmaker, didn't put the hot start lever on yet am going to wait until I put a FCR carb. on it.
