Herrmann Racing offers a nice set of lt a arms for the 450R. Look under dmackesty's 450R and you can see a set on mine. They are made great and fit awesome. Really helps out on handling and the lt elka's are wonderful.

Check out Houser A-Arms. The new style has needle bearings in the pivot areas. All the ball joints can be greased. They are sweet. Just put a set on my buddies 450 R bolted on with no problems. I can e-mail you some pics.

Long Travel. He is running TCS shocks on his 19.50". I bought 4 sets. I have Custom Axis for mine.. The a-arms and shocks are tough to get. The hole set-up is tight.... Still have 2 sets...

Farr runs a Leager Pro Trax with PEP ARCs. (Rebound adjustable shocks) ANd they are BIG BUCKS. The arms, stem and spindels are like 2200 and the shocks are 1699. WAY TO MUCH in my opinion. JRD, Herman, Janssen and JB Racing all make nice front ends that are affordable.

no other front end will handle like the protrax w/ peps. ;) but you are right, that price is hard to pay.

baldwin sells the front shocks for 895 and the frontend is 2118

Bro,

$895? Not for PEP ARCs. Maybe for standard travel ZPS. Call Baldwin tomorrow and see if you can get LT ARCs for 895, if you can, order me a set, too.

OK, shock 101

PEP ZPS means zero pre load
PEP ARC mean adjustable rebound and compression, but they are also zero preload.

The reason ARCs are soooo much more is because it is much more labor intensive to add rebound clicker adjustment to the bottom of the shock.

Yes, Tim runs the best PEPs money can buy (or can be supplied to him by Wayne - one of his sponsors) But for the average Joe like you and me, the ARCs are $1699, and PEP doesn't discount, doesn't have to, he has a waiting list months long. Normal long travel ZPS shocks are around 1100 bucks, again without rebound.

I had a Pro Trax front end on my full Lonestar YZ426 quad from last year. And they are awesome, but for the money (3000 shocks and pro trax) you can get a full front end, front shocks, axle, pipe and nerfs. I loved my Pro Trax, but to be honest, there aren't too many people who are good enough on a quad that could tell the difference between a Pro Trax front or a Walsh/Roll front. Funny thing is, I am faster on my YFZ with a Roll front (still overpriced) than I was on my Pro Trax and you don't have to rebuild the other fronts like you do the Leager.

Not knocking the Pro Trax, just saying that there are better options for the money. But, if you have the cash, go for it.
