XR400 Cam???

I went down to my local Honda shop the other day, and had him look up the part # on a XR400 cam.. it is the same cam as the 400ex's stock cam. I dont understand how they can be two different parts with the same part #. . If anyone put an XR cam in their bike, did it help? how much?

The xr400 motorcycle cam is a different part than the cam used in a 400ex. Your local Honda shop is wrong. U can look up the pn's on www.servicehonda.com

The xr400 cam makes a big difference.
