Well, this may come over a little harsh and i know that not everybody has the means but my opinion is this.

To become a member in most every organization like AMA, ATVA, NRA etc, you have to pay a fee. That alone does not make you a member of course. A true member frequents the place or site he is a member of and contributes. Whether with opinion or technical support, it doesn't matter.

That is a true member.

I would agree. In my eyes, to be recognized as a "member" you have to contribute, either technical information or humor, on a fairly frequent basis.

Is willing to help in any way possible, and has contributed in some way. When answers to his/her user name more than his/hers given name. Knows everyone's first name, and everyone knows his/hers first name.


And gets over 75 replies per thread just because of who they are, even if they suck like this one....:rolleyes:
